DescriptionA one-day hands-on operative cadaveric surgical course providing operative experience in the management of urological emergencies. Aimed at ST6 / 7 Urology SpRs
Additional information

 We are running  courses with reduced numbers due to Covid19, 6 trainees and 4 faculty. The anatomy lab corridor is been run under NHS rules. A face mask must be worn as you enter the University site, you will  need to provide your own mask.

 Please read the dissecting room regulations before attend ing the course.

Aims

· Have a strategy to manage uncommon urological emergencies including: Renal trauma, ureteric injury

· Develop the skills to perform trauma nephrectomy

· Feel competent to perform ureteric re-implantation

Learning outcomes

· Understanding and technical skills of emergency urology surgery

· Anatomy relevant to emergency surgery
