DescriptionThis course covers non-mesh continence surgery aligned with the training requirements for the RCOG ATSM and the specialist Urology training programme. It is a ‘hands-on’ cadaveric operative course, with a ratio of 1:2 per cadaver, and is aimed at Senior Trainees in both Urology and Urogynaecology in the Yorkshire & Humber region. Programme Includes: ◦ Colposuspension ◦ Autologous Fascial Slings ◦ Urethral Bulking Agents ◦ Sacrospinous Fixation ◦ Intravesical Botox

 There are 4 places for  Urogynaecology trainees and 4 places for Urology trainees.

 Please read the  dissecting room  regulations prior to attending the course.

 The first day  we will all meet at Leeds General Infirmary, Post Grad Clinical Practice Centre, Martin Wing.

• To improve knowledge of pelvic anatomy and it’s relation to continence surgery.

• Expert instruction and guidance through the surgical steps to perform non-mesh surgical continence procedures.

• Hands-on experience to build confidence and skills in performing these procedures.

• Support in the achievement of the essential advanced training competencies in urogynaecologyical / female urology surgery.
