DescriptionDescription – This course will be delivered by a multidisciplinary team including hepatobiliary, upper gastro-intestinal, colorectal, urology and gynaecological oncology surgeons. As a pilot course numbers will be kept to minimum. Cadavers will be used for delegates to practice techniques as instructed by surgeons of different specialties.

This is a pilot course aimed at gynaecological oncology surgeons for consultants and senior trainees.

Aims To understand and practice techniques used in advanced cytoreductive surgery for gynaecological cancer.

Objectives

Objectives

To understand the surgical anatomy and surgical steps required for cytoreductive surgery in all the areas within the abdomen. Tips and tricks will be explained by surgeons of different specialties and delegates will have the opportunity to try these techniques on cadavers in real time.
