Lecturer profileDr Brenda Murray graduated in Dentistry from Queen’s University Belfast in 1998 after completing an intercalated BSc and PhD in Anatomy. She then worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in Oral Medicine and Clinical Lecturer in Oral Sciences in Belfast for the next 5 years during which time she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching. Dr Murray completed Specialist Training in Leeds in 2007 and was appointed as Consultant in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology in Leeds Dental Institute in 2008 and in the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2009. Her main clinical interests are head and neck ultrasound and cone beam CT. Dr Murray is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the University of Leeds and has been Training Programme Director for Specialist Training in Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology in Leeds since 2014. She is Chair of the Specialist Advisory Committee for the Additional Dental Specialties, National Recruitment Lead for Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology and is an Examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists.
