Aims

To provide comprehensive training of dental medical emergencies

Objectives

Develop knowledge of resuscitation within the dental setting.

Discuss the ABCDE assessment process. Explain the immediate management of the sick adult and child. Implement the correct dental emergency drugs, equipment and oxygen therapy.

This training session is intended to provide each team member with knowledge and skills to deal with medical emergencies to improve patient safety within the dental setting.
