Description | Fit test training course delivered by Fit2Fit accredited fit tester. This course only covers disposable FFP3/FFP2/N95 and reusable half mask respirators. This course will provide education and training, in line with Fit2Fit guidance on fit testing. The face to face aspect is 1 day and covers the practical aspect of fit testing. This course will not provide a formalised fit test for applicants. Please check with your indemnifier and employer’s liability insurer prior to attending (regarding cover) Please bring a surgical mask to wear during the course, to comply with the hospital guidance on wearing face masks at all times. We would kindly request that you support your local NHS practices where possible with fit testing There is no catering available (during the COVID-19 pandemic), so please bring your own lunch | ||

Aims | This course aims to provide candidates with the skills required to conduct practical testing of disposable and half mask RPE. Thus enabling employers to help demonstrate compliance with legislation and guidance contained within INDG479 and HSG53. | ||
