Aims

To provide delegates with a practical day of aesthetic anterior composites

To discuss and show how to practically apply composite in the treatment of toothwear

to give delegates the practical skills required for placing successful anterior composite in different situations

Objectives

At the end of the course the delegates should be able to:

Build up a broken down anterior tooth with appreciation of the aesthetic requirments

Differentiate aesthetic treatments from treatment of toothwear and what may be considered to provide long lasting composite restorations

be more confident in the preparation of an anterior tooth for composite restorations

have an appreciation of the finishing required to make aesthetic, natural composite restorations

be aware of layering techniques for composite

Be aware of how composite restorations can be used in the treatment of toothwear and consider potential pitfalls and problems that may be encountered
