Subject | Hypodontia | ||
Description | Hypodontia is a challenging condition for the dental team to manage due to the variation in presentation and treatment options. Person-centred care emphasises treatment for each person as an individual, with consideration of their expectations and preferences. In her PhD research, Sophy used mixed methods to explore adolescent and parent understand of, and preference for, treatment for hypodontia. She will present the key findings of this research and discuss how it could be used to make changes in routine clinical practice, and the effect of some of those changes to date. This webinar is hosted by Sheffield and District Orthodontic Study Circle/ South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Orthodontic Managed Clinical Network. | ||
