Aims

To provide an insight into effective poster design and oral presentation delivery to create impact at scientific and clinical meetings.

Objectives

1. Gain an understanding of the elements of good poster design through learning and critique of real posters

2. Gain experience in delivery of a one-minute presentation

3. Acquire skills in providing feedback to others following presentations

4. Develop an understanding of how to tailor presentation style and delivery for your target audience

1. Understand how to design an effective poster to create impact at an academic meeting.

2. Recognise the importance of good poster design

3. Appreciate the skills required to deliver an effective oral presentation, both face to face and virtually
