Katie qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2004. She has worked for Mid Yorkshire Hospitals, Community Dental Service for the past 14 years where she is now the Senior Dental Nurse. She has qualifications in management and has recently gained a qualification in Paediatric Dental Nursing. She has over 10 years’ experience using inhalation sedation for paediatric and adult special care patients within the Community Dental Service.

She has previously undertaken training in Restorative Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Special Care Dentistry in Yorkshire and the West Midlands. Special interests include dental trauma and safeguarding. |
