Lecturer profileDr. Robert Dyas is a specialist in Oral Surgery who started his specialist training in England where he was awarded a Welcome Trust Training Fellowship and FDS from the Royal College of Surgeons. He has worked as a Lecturer to undergraduate and postgraduate dentists and has organised and taught on courses in Oral Surgery, Implants, Patient anxiety around the World. Over 1,000 people have been trained on his live courses. He is also involved in the running of VT equivalence courses in the UK.

He also received a medal from the Royal Society of Medicine for outstanding research. He still maintains visiting lectureships Worldwide. Robert developed and is the Director of Pro Dental CPD the largest provider of online dental CPD in the UK.
Director of the ADI (Association of Dental Implantology) one of the largest organisations of it’s type in the World and acts as clinical adviser to a number of dental companies.

Lecturer profileSophie qualified from Birmingham in 2011 and completed VT in Birmingham followed by DF2 in OMFS with general dental duties at The Royal London Hospital, London. Following this she worked as CDT1 in Paediatric Dentistry at Kings College Hospital, London and CDT2 in Paediatric Dentistry at Sheffield Dental Hospital. Currently, Sophie is working as a Registrar in Paediatric Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute and Rotherham CDS.

Lecturer profileJen Kirby is a NHS Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield. Jen graduated from the University of Glasgow In 2010. She completed Longitudinal Dental Foundation Training in 2012 and held Senior House Officer posts in both hospital and community dental settings. During this period she completed the Membership of the Faculty of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and a PG Certificate in Medical Education. In 2014 she commenced her specialty training in Paediatric Dentistry in Sheffield completing her training in 2020. During her speciality training Jen did a Leadership Fellowship in Safeguarding within Sheffield Community and Special Care Dental Service. She also attained Masters in Clinical Dentistry, Membership in Paediatric Dentistry, Intercollegiate Speciality Examination in Paediatric Dentistry and a PG Cert in Medical Leadership.
