Description | The ILM Level 5 Diploma is aimed at middle managers seeking a thorough grounding in their role and responsibilities, plus the opportunity to consolidate and further develop the key skills and knowledge they need at this level. The course is delivered using a blended method of learning over a maximum of twelve months. All learners will have access to a series of information packs spread over eight consecutive months. The packs contain everything required to undertake the course and provides information, advice and guidance on how to complete assignments. Candidates will have their work assessed remotely and constructive feedback provided. Tutor 1-1 virtual contact is also built into the course and scheduled at times convenient for both parties. Aims | Assessment of the Award: Learners are required to demonstrate their knowledge & understanding of management principles across seven prescribed units. Reading, research & reflection is essential to assist with the completion of assignments. These are set against ILM specified criteria & marked by an assessor who is a qualified & experienced strategic business leader. Work based learning will be applied which involves tailoring the assignments to their place of work, examining documentary evidence of the management role and undertaking professional discussions to support evidence presented where required. | ||
