To provide an update on the development of direct restorative materials suitable for posterior teeth including bulkfil composites and amalgam alternatives. The webinar also aims to discuss the current developments of LED light curing units and the factors affecting the curing process and provide clinical tips on how to improve posterior restorations.

Objectives

To update the audience on the advances in posterior direct restorative materials including bulkfil composites and amalgam alternatives.

To discuss the current developments of LED light curing units and factors affecting optimum curing of composite resins.

To provide instruction on how to produce successful posterior restorations with modern bulk fill composites.

To discuss the use of sectional matrix systems for the perfect contact points.

Learning outcomes

Delegates will have an update on the direct restorative materials available for posterior restorations and the factors that influence their clinical success. The delegates will also have further understanding of how to effectively use and maintain LED light curing units. Delegates will also be provided with clinical tips and techniques to help them improve their posterior composite restorations.
