Subject | Dental nurse training
Description | This workshop offers opportunities for senior dental nurses to develop a range of skills and knowledge, and build their confidence by knowing how to use best practice techniques for leading and developing teams of dental nurses. The course is suitable for dental nurses wishing to take on a lead nurse role, and practice managers wishing to appoint nurses to this important role within their workplaces.
Additional information | Making the decision to appoint a lead dental nurse is simply the first step. The next step is to define roles and responsibilities, to ensure everyone knows WHAT is expected of them, and HOW they are required to perform tasks. The lead dental nurse needs to be supported with clear job descriptions, defining their role, responsibilities and reporting requirments. They also need to be given acknowledgement for their contribution to the work of the practice and be rewarded for their input. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FACE TO FACE COURSES Due to recent changes in government guidelines relating to COVID-19 we are in the process of updating our F2F event policy. In the meantime, with the health and wellbeing of our attendees and staff being our priority we would like to recommend the below interim measures whilst we finalise this policy. In the mean time: Any delegates with COVID-19 symptoms should not attend a HEE course/event We recommend delegates should undertake a lateral flow test within 24 hours of the course (this is also a recommendation to our speakers and tutors) Delegates should bring their own hand sanitiser and practice good hand hygiene We would encourage you to wear a mask in communal areas and maintain social distancing where possible The latest government guidance for events can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-covid-19/events-and-attractions We would like to thank you for your co-operation.
