DescriptionDental implants have become an increasingly prevalent treatment option for the replacement of missing teeth, with reported survival rates for implants and implant supported restorations above 90% after 10 years. However, they are not without complications and with their increasing placement, it is likely that primary care dentists and dental care professionals will encounter patients presenting with problems.
