Objectives | The objective is to explain and discuss: Current legislation requirements in the Ionising Radiation Regulations and Ionising Radadiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations and the difference between the two Individual responsibilities and appointments relating to the legislation The general principles of dental radiation Quality assurance relevant to ensuring patient safety | ||
Learning outcomes | On successful completion of the session the learner will be able to: Discuss the legislation relating to radiation in primary care dental services Apply safe working procedures to ensure patient safety and the safety of others Evaluate and reflect on learning and identify further areas for self improvement | ||
