The purpose of the day is to give you an opportunity to reflect on, refine and hone your supervision skills, to enable you to support your trainees better, with a particular focus on ‘courageous conversation’. As an Educational Supervisor or Training Programme Director the content of the workshops will have direct relevance to your practice.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the day participants should be able to:

Explore and action the principles of good practice associated with provision of effective feedback.

Evaluate the role of feedback in reflective practice

Critically review the role of the clinical supervisor and strategies for successful ‘courageous conversations’
