Additional information | Entry Requirements You must: · be registered with the General Dental Council · be sufficiently fluent in written and spoken English to communicate with patients, their relatives, the dental team and other healthcare professionals in the UK · be able to meet the work-based clinical requirements of the Record of Competence (RoC) · attendance at all 6 teaching sessions is mandatory · exam entry documents to be completed within the Tutor specified timeframe for submission to the NEBDN · it is expected that delegates undertake the 2021 NEBDN examination to make full use of this opportunity Record of Competence You will be required to complete a work-based Record of Competence (RoC). There are three sections to the RoC ·Practical Competence Assessment Sheets (PCAS) ·Case studies ·Supplementary outcomes Examination This is a 90-minute written examination composed of two sections: ·Part A – 60 multiple choice questions (MCQ) ·Part B – 15 extended matching questions (EMQ) Award of qualification In order to be awarded this qualification, you must: ·Complete and satisfy the requirements of the RoC ·Pass the examination NOTE It is recommended that before you apply, access the full radiography syllabus and reading list, accessed through the NEBDN website. Failure to complete document submissions within the specified timeframe will result in non-examination entry. September 2021 Examination date TBC Health Education England will provide Tutor support up to the examination date. Failure to sit or pass the examination will require delegates to communicate directly with the Tutor for support and guidance on the next examiantion date. Considerable home study will be an aspect of undertaking this qualification. | ||
