Aims

To expose participants to the diagnosis and management of children with complex dental and medical needs.

Objectives

By the end of this course participants will:

  • be able to formulate a differential diagnosis for children with complex dental and/or medical needs.
  • be able to develop treatment options for a range of paediatric scenarios.
  • feel comfortable debating, with reference to contemporary evidence, the relative benefits of various treatment strategies.
  • have confidence in managing more complex paediatric dental cases.
