Aims

To update Educational Supervisors on current practice and developments across key clinical areas including vital pulp therapy and digital dentistry.

To enhance supervisors’ ability to support, teach, and assess Dental Foundation Trainees in line with contemporary educational standards.

To strengthen confidence and competence in using digital tools, clinical assessment methods, and ES portfolio requirements.

Objectives

To update Educational Supervisors’ understanding of current clinical developments and how these inform effective trainee supervision.

To strengthen supervisors’ ability to teach, support, and assess Dental Foundation Trainees in line with contemporary educational standards.

To improve supervisors’ confidence and competence in using educational tools and portfolio systems to guide trainee progression.
