Aims | To facilitate networking and update educators across Yorkshire and the Humber on current issues within postgraduate dental education. | ||
Objectives | 1. To define the characteristics, opportunities, challenges and preferences of Generation Z; 2. To raise awareness about suicide prevention and dispel some widespread myths about suicide; 3. To provide an overview of the medicolegal process with an emphasis on issues relevant to postgraduate dental training; 4. To discuss with supervisors how to guide resident dentists when they are the subject of a patient complaint. | ||
Learning outcomes | On completion of this course delegates will be able to: 1. Formulate clear, specific, and actionable feedback tailored to the needs of Generation Z learners; 2. Better understand suicide and suicide prevention strategies; 3. Better understand the legal process and the role of the expert witness when a claim arises; 4. Appropriately support resident dentists when they are the subject of a complaint. | ||
