Aims

To provide an in-depth understanding of endodontic treatments and restorative techniques in paediatric dentistry, enabling dental professionals to effectively manage cases in order to improve future outcomes

Objectives
  • To explore common endodontic issues in children, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and effective management techniques for young permanent teeth.
  • To discuss intermediate restorative strategies that prioritise tooth preservation, addressing pulp therapy and minimally invasive approaches suitable for paediatric patients.
  • To demonstrate best practices in pain management and behaviour guidance to ensure a comfortable and cooperative experience for young patients undergoing endodontic and restorative treatments.
Learning outcomes
