Description | This qualification is designed for the Principle Dentists, Dentists, Practice Managers, Lead Dental Nurses, EDDNs or other GDC registered dental professionals who have contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults within the General Dental Practice. The qualification promotes awareness and sensitivity to safeguarding enabling learners to be able to identify issues and emphasises the responsibility to ensure that concerns are reported and acted on appropriately. This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA). The FAA are an awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual and SQA Accreditation and the qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). |
