Aims

The aim of this course is to have an update on modern minimally invasive techniques to improve the aesthetics of anterior teeth including microabrasion, teeth whitening and ICON resin infiltration. It will also provide an opportunity to have a hands on experience in anterior composite veneers to improve the shape and aesthetics.

Objectives
  • Discuss case examples when microabrasion, teeth whitening and ICON resin infiltration techniques are suitable
  • Discuss when direct composite veneers are required and how to achieve predictable results
  • To demonstrate how to produce successful anterior composites to improve the shape and aesthetics of the anterior teeth
Learning outcomes
  • Have an understanding of when tooth whitening, microabrasion and resin infiltration techniques are appropriate
  • Plan and undertake composite bonding to optimise the size and shape of anterior teeth
