Aims

To provide an overview of the provision of inhalation sedation (IHS) with nitrous oxide and oxygen for dental care in children.

Objectives
  • Update of theory and pharmacology of nitrous oxide sedation
  • Practical tips on the use of IHS in children, including assessment
  • Governance and sustainability surrounding IHS
