Aims

This course aims to reduce the impact of back pain and musculoskeletal issues in dentistry.

Objectives
  • To identify how back pain affects those working in dentistry.
  • To recognise and identify ergonomic aspects, and how they impact on back care.
  • To review the clinical anatomy and evidence of back care.
Learning outcomes

By the end of this session, delegates will be able to take ownership and management of their own back care in the dental working environment.
