Aims | The aim of this course is discuss a number of clinical scenarios, with hands-on articulation of casts, where an appreciation of the occlusion helped to ensure a successful outcome. |
Objectives | 1. To discuss the relevance of the “ideal occlusion” in restorative dentistry and to discuss methods of recording the occlusion. 2. To discuss when to conform or reorganise an occlusion and to discuss articulator selection and how to record a facebow transfer. 3. To show how articulator settings can be set to aid the clinician and optimise clinical efficiency |
