Aims

The aim of this course is to update dental practice team members on the infection control implications of the COVID-19 epidemic, and reduce the occurrence and transmission of infectious diseases in the dental surgery.

Objectives
  • To describe features of the coronavirus infection and its transmission.
  • To discuss the impact and implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on infection risk reduction in dental practices.

At the end of the webinar participants will be able to:

  • Outline the process of Coronavirus transmission.
  • Describe infection control procedures to reduce the risks of transmission of infection in dental practices.
