Description | During this day, Raj Rattan will look at the dento-legal aspects of consent, review communication techniques and propose effective models of verbal communication. Raj will also cover patient communications and clinical record keeping. The complaints module will include an overview of the root causes of complaints and Raj will discuss effective strategies to manage and avoid complaints. The day will conclude with an over-view of the clinical challenges associated with the current GDS contract including mixing private/NHS dentistry and the provision of complex care in the NHS. He will outline the proposals for contract reform. |
Additional information | The course is aimed at dentists including practice owners and associates. Aspects of the course will also be suitable for dental nurses, hygienists, therapists and practice managers. |
