Aims

To discuss the outcomes of the SCDFT year · To consider an FD’s perspective of National Recruitment for DCT

· To examine the power of audit in a DFT practice

· To review the provision and outcomes of community based interventions in the HEE YH region

· To update ES’s on the hands on study days in the programme

· To consider ways of treating management of toothwear cases to FD’s

  • To address Autism and Sensory Issues that may affect learning and behaviour and how it may affect communication and present challenges with this patient group.
Objectives

On completion of this course you will be able to:

· Understand the regional outcomes for this year’s SCDFT

· Identify and understand what support a DFT training practice can give an FD preparing for a DCT National Recruitment

· Understand more about antibiotic guardianship

Know more about community oral health programme’s running in the region

· Maximise learning opportunities for your FD to compliment the Hands on study day programme

· To support your FD better to treat patients with toothwear in general practice
