Aims
  • To introduce features of PowerPoint and Keynote that can be used to create interactive discussions rather than linear presentations
  • To explore ways in which the bullet points can be lost without losing the message.
  • To cover the key concepts of good practice in slide design
  • To show how graphics can be created simply to emphasise a point
  • How to plan an effective presentation
Objectives

By the end of the session, the delegates will:

  • Be able to create an engaging presentation, using graphical content and following the principals of good presentation design
  • Be more aware of tools that can increase interactivity such as triggers and hyperlinks
  • Have seen the lesser used features in PowerPoint that can be used to improve recall of information and reduce the frequency of Death-by-PowerPoint presentations
