Aims

The course aims to provide delegates with the theoretical basis for conventional and resin bonded bridgework and an opportunity to practice and develop their clinical skills with these restorations.

Objectives

Understand the indications, design features and limitations of adhesive and conventional bridge work.

Understand the principles of extra-coronal tooth preparation including the importance of retention and resistance form

Know the importance of an accurate master impression/locating impression/jaw registration when treatment planning and providing fixed prosthodontics.
