To provide an overview of Level 2 training in Special Care dentistry for those providing or supervising placements

Objectives

To review the curriculum that needs fulfilling in order to meet the portfolio requirements of a Level 2 dentist in Special Care dentistry

To discuss the 2 year training programme

To inform delegates of the role and responsibilities of supervisors

Learning outcomes

Be able to supervise those dentists on placements, and direct them in completing their portfolio

Be able to perform required tutorials to cover the Tier 2 curriculum

Be able to describe the Level 2 Special Care Dentistry training programme
