Aims

To aquire essential knowledge and practical skills to competently carry out risk assessments under the Management of H&S at Work Regs 1999 and CQC Regs to support a robust risk management system.

Objectives

Delegates will be able to: State purpose and benefits of using risk assessment in management., State the principals of risk assemssment and describe the stages involved in carrying out assessments. Recognise legislative requirements.Carry out, record, monitor and review risk assessments in own workplace setting.Identify how risk asessments link H&S with quality assurance, training, personal and organisational development issues. Recognise and reflect on own limitations of knowledge and experience and be aware of where to seek further information, guidance and assistance.
