Aims

Provide an overview of all aspects of “sealing" teeth in children and young people including dental caries, dental erosion, developmental defects and restorations

Objectives

By the end of this course, delegates will:

  • Gain a greater insight into the latest applications for sealing teeth; including using a biological approach for managing dental caries
  • Develop a better understanding of when and how to apply sealing techniques as a preventive measure
  • Develop a better understanding of when and how to apply sealing techniques in the treatment of dental caries and erosion; including the Hall technique
  • Be updated on how sealing can aid in the management of dens invaginatus, dens evaginatus and other dental developmental anomalies
