Acupuncture is a technique whereby diseases can be either cured or alleviated- in other words- an extra tool in a dentist’s toolbox. It has been used in China for the last 3-4000 years and the technique has shown results that even today are surprising.

The course is aimed at Dentists Hygienists and Therapists who MUST hold full GDC Registration at the time of the course

Participants signing up to day 1 can also sign up for day 2 of the course which will be run the next day. The second day is a post foundation course where you will learn how to treat headache and migraine, atypical facial pain, burning mouth syndrome, sinusitis and xerostomia.

Completing days 1 and 2 will prepare participants for their Diploma in Dental Acupuncture which also requires a written case portfolio.

Please note that you need to confirm that your indemnity insurance provider will cover the use of acupuncture as part of your practice.
