Aims

To give delegates a broader understanding of how to provide holistic care for those people living with dementia.

Objectives

To give GDPs the understanding how to plan effective care for patients with dementia.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course the delegate will:

  • Be able to plan dental care that is appropriate for the needs of people with dementia
  • Be able to develop individual oral health care plans
  • Understand the important of working with carers of people with dementia to maintain oral health
