  • Understand and apply good practice in clinical record keeping, including Best Practice
  • To discuss the current legal principles which shape the obtaining of informed consent and apply this knowledge to the recording of valid consent
  • Be aware of current guidance relating to clinical record keeping
  • Critically appraise clinical records (including self-appraisal) in order to inform future practice
