The 2015 Intercollegiate Advisory Committee for Sedation in Dentistry (IACSD) report sets out the clinical standards and training that you will be expected to implement and be able to demonstrate. These standards came into effect from April 2015 and will be checked during any inspection by the CQC (HIW, HIS, RQIA). The inspectors will check that the practice and sedationist are compliant.
