Aims

Trainers will receive an update on current initiatives, including role of the SAC/STC, ISCP navigation and pitfalls, update on the ISFE examination, recognition of TPD/AES Training and an update on the QA of training

Workshop sessions will also provide skills development opportunities on using the ISCP, managing trainees in difficulty, including how to support the failing trainee and bullying or harassment issues.

Objectives

After the event, TPDs/Educational Supervisors will:

  • Understand the role of the SAC/STC and the use of the ISCP
  • Have an increased understanding of supporting trainees (and other colleagues) in difficulty
  • Understand the Trainer Recognition and HEYH quality processes
