understand techniques and principles of endodontic irrigation

appreciate the different file systems and methods for canal shaping

appraise different techniques for endodontic obturation

By the end of this session, learners should be able to:

appreciate why non-vital teeth are structurally different

appreciate the importance of pre-treatment tooth assessment

understand the role & importance of the restoration

understand the differing inter-visit restorations, their benefits and limitations

justify the different options for restoring endodontically treated teeth
