Aims | • Give an insight into and improve understanding of how to interact effectively and appropriately in a professional capacity with radio television newspapers/magazines etc the internet and social media |
Objectives | • How to approach media interaction as a professional: Managing press communications, how to prepare, and getting your message across. • Television, radio and newspapers: managing media interviews and avoiding some of the common pitfalls • Effective and appropriate use of social media as a professional. Do’s and don’t’s. |
Learning outcomes | Following this course the attendees will have a better understanding of how they might be required to interact as a professional with public-facing media and how to prepare for and conduct themselves during such an interaction. Attendees will also be better prepared to manage interaction in social media and understand what is expected of them as professionals |
