| Additional information | PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: - Due to the amount of home study required by these courses, you can only apply for ONE NEBDN course at any one time.
- When you have been accepted on the course there will also be a charge of £195 for the NEBDN Examination Fee and £20 for the NEBDN Record of Achievement (which you pay directly to Wakefield College). Please note that these charges are subject to change by NEBDN and are outside of our control.
- Full attendance is expected from all those delegates given a place on this course
- Dental Nurses must have the support of a Dentist who will act as a mentor throughout this course and qualification and have access to radiography equipment to enable completion of the required log sheets
- Delegates must be prepared for considerable home study to achieve this qualification
- It is encouraged that Dental Nurses participating in this course undertake the examination in 2016 (Date TBC) as the final aspect of this course
- Your course place is subject to the completion and return oF fhe necessary paperwork within the requested time-frame in order that you can be registered with NEBDN.

| Objectives | - Know and understand core of knowledge in relation to ionising radiation and radiation protection
- Able to identify and demonstrate the use of radiography equipment and imaging principles
- Demonstrate practice of planning and providing radiographic examination for patients and identification and rectification of film faults.
