NEBDN Accredited certificate in dental radiography (6 Sessions) (CPD-YORK16JUN16)

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1. Due to the amount of home study required by these courses, you can only apply for ONE NEBDN course at any one time.
    
2. When you have been accepted on the course there will also be a charge of £195 for the NEBDN Examination Fee and £20 for the NEBDN Record of Achievement (which you pay directly to Wakefield College).  Please note that these charges are subject to change by NEBDN and are outside of our control.
    
3. Full attendance is expected from all those delegates given a place on this course
    
4. Dental Nurses must have the support of a Dentist who will act as a mentor throughout this course and qualification and have access to radiography equipment to enable completion of the required log sheets
    
5. Delegates must be prepared for considerable home study to achieve this qualification
    
6. It is encouraged that Dental Nurses participating in this course undertake the examination in 2016 (Date TBC) as the final aspect of this course
    
7. Your course place is subject to the completion and return oF fhe necessary paperwork within the requested time-frame in order that you can be registered with NEBDN.

Mandatory: Dental Nurse

To equip dental nurses with the theoretical core of knowledge and practical skill required for undertaking dental radiography examination

• Know and understand core of knowledge in relation to ionising radiation and radiation protection


• Able to identify and demonstrate the use of radiography equipment and imaging principles


• Demonstrate practice of planning and providing radiographic examination for patients and identification and rectification of film faults.
