DescriptionThis three day programme is designed specifically for clinical teachers and aims to enhance and increase skills in practical teaching. Core topics and skills are covered, with the focus on their applicability to small group and one-to-one teaching with learners at different stages of professional development. In order to maximise skills development, the programme is practical and highly participative, capitalising on the experience and expertise of both programme tutors and clinical teachers. A range of active learning strategies are used, with three micro-teaching episodes providing opportunities for teachers to practice and receive feedback on their teaching in a supportive environment.
