DescriptionA session which explains how the NHSE Social Prescribing team are supporting IMG doctors in training with ‘social connectedness’. Social connectedness refers to what extent a trainee feels integrated and accepted within their new community, what level of ‘belonging’ they feel and whether they suffer with loneliness and/or isolation. It also includes language, communication, friendships and culture; and how best to adjust, improve and adapt. This course is run by the Primary Care School.
