DescriptionA practical, case-based reminder of how to identify, analyse and resolve ethical dilemmas in clinical practice. The session is discussion-based and seeks to emphasise the formulation, articulation and exchange of ethical ideas and theory.
Additional information

Participants should bring and be prepared to discuss ethical cases from their own practice with other attendees.

Aims

A practical, case-based session on how to identify, analyse and resolve ethical dilemmas in clinical practice.

Objectives

Drawing on participants' own experiences, we will talk about:

  • medical ethics, including basic ethical theory
  • how to identify ethical problems
  • how to solve ethical problems
