DescriptionDo you feel you are never quite good enough? The common trait of perfectionism can unhealthily impact on our mental health and relationships at work. This course will help you identify where it is at play in your life, and give you practical tips on how to overcome it without dropping standards.
Additional information

Perfectionism is a very common trait in healthcare professionals, particularly doctors. Most of us don't think we are perfect, but instead we do often think we are not quite good enough. Whilst in many ways perfectionism can help us advance our careers and drive up quality at work , it has unhealthy aspects which negatively impact on our mental health, our self esteem and our relationships inside and outside work. This one day course will examine the differing aspects of unhealthy perfectionism, compared to a healthy pursuit of excellence. Delegates will share their own experiences in small confidential groups and learn and try out helpful approaches to having a healthier relationship with a relentless drive for higher standards.
