Description | Do you sometimes struggle to get everything done? Is engaging with your e-portfolio a challenge? Do you find it tricky to identify the most important activity in a long to-do list? If you answer yes to any of these questions, then this course is for you! Delivered via a series of group coaching sessions, this course provides a safe and supportive learning space where you can increase your self-awareness and confidence and take away a range of tools and tips to improve your organisation and task management which you can practically implement in a sustainable way. |
Additional information | You will need to be willing to commit protected time over the period of the course, and to complete any required homework between sessions. Attendance is essential for at least five out of the six-monthly sessions and the follow up session to get the certificate of completion.
Multiday courses This is a multiday course. The attendance requirements for multiday courses are: You must secure rota coordinator agreement for the time off for all course days before booking and follow the study leave process Attendance at all sessions is required in order to complete the course and be awarded a participation certificate If your availability changes before the course and you know that you will be unable to attend one or more sessions, you must cancel your place as soon as possible If you are absent from day 1 of the course, you will be withdrawn from the remainder of the course Joining Instructions This is a virtual course, the joining instructions for the virtual meeting will be added to the documents section (above) before the course. Please ensure that you are able to access this before the course so that you are ready to join on the day. Booking cancellation Participants must make every effort to attend courses they have booked. Aims | To enable participants to develop, practise, and embed skills that will enhance their learning experience and effectiveness in the workplace. |
Objectives | · Online 30 minute one to one session with facilitator to explore needs (ideally in the two weeks before start of series) · Presentation of tailored content followed by individual and or group activities to reflect, share and develop individualised action plans at the end of each session. · Group interactions in breakout rooms will hopefully enhance communication skills and openness to learn from the wisdom of the group. - Completion of required homework between sessions |
Learning outcomes | a) Explore and document your needs, values, strengths and begin to develop your vision. b) Recognise and practise the rhythms and habits that best serve your whole life vision. c) Identify priority areas to focus during the course. d) Understand principles of prioritisation and time management and choose appropriate tools for implementation. e) Exploring how to incorporate rest in your routine. f) Implement mini-action plans using your learning and develop your own process for repeating them. (Participants receive a guidebook with tools at the end of the course) |
