Positive People created this hands-on programme to support busy staff at all levels, providing an approach which puts you in control, improves productivity and reduces stress." | ||
Additional information | This programme will provide both a methodology to stay on top of work and also hands-on, live help to optimise a range of corporate productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, To Do, Planner and Onenote. There will also be optional support for Google-based users).
Multiday courses This is a multiday course. The attendance requirements for multiday courses are: You must secure rota coordinator agreement for the time off for all course days before booking and follow the study leave process Attendance at all sessions is required in order to complete the course and be awarded a participation certificate If your availability changes before the course and you know that you will be unable to attend one or more sessions, you must cancel your place as soon as possible If you are absent from day 1 of the course, you will be withdrawn from the remainder of the course Joining Instructions This is a virtual course, the joining instructions for the virtual meeting will be added to the documents section (above) before the course. Please ensure that you are able to access this before the course so that you are ready to join on the day. Booking cancellation Participants must make every effort to attend courses they have booked. If your availability changes after booking, please cancel your place through Maxcourse as soon as possible. This will release the place for colleagues on the waiting list. Target audience | This course is restricted to trainee doctors and dentists who are taking time out of training or who have returned to training within the last 3 months. IMG trainee doctors may also attend within their first 6 months of working within the NHS. (IMG = International Medical Graduate.) Please only book if you meet these criteria. Objectives | The course has 3 elements to help participants maintain control of their busy workload: 1) FOCUS • Identifying and focusing on our priorities • Managing projects effectively • Creating to do lists that work 2) PLAN • A 5-stage approach to manage our inputs • Capturing effectively into external tools • Embedding the Weekly Review 3) DO IT (FOR MICROSOFT USERS *) • Getting the best from Outlook (inbox zero) • Setting up Microsoft OneNote effectively • Synchronising the tools • Using Microsoft To Do and Planner * At the end of event, there will also be an optional short workshop provided for Google-based users | ||
