DescriptionThis is a fully funded half day introductory course that will equip attendees with some educational theory, an understanding of educator Knowledge and skills requirement and an introduction to work based assessments (WBAs). This course is intended for clinicians working in primary and community care environments from the wider workforce professions and GPs who wish to explore how to support their staff better. It is aimed at those individuals in General Practice who have recently been asked to supervise staff and/or would like some fundamentals around the below elements of supervision.
Additional information

Attendance certificate can be provided on completion, which can be used as evidence in learner/clinician portfolios.

An opportunity to join a Community of Practice for Supervisors following course completion.

This introductory course may not fulfil attendees’ professional requirements regarding required supervision knowledge and skills. Please check with your professional body.
